Finally, a half-decent picture of Skye Reyes from Scavenger Plains! [link]
I've had a few attempts to draw her before, but they didn't turn out so well. Part of this was due to the fact that as a guy, I'm not as familar with the female form than I am with the male form. Hence, when I tried to draw Skye, I tended to horribly mangle the female form.
Strangely, this didn't start as a drawing of Skye. I was playing around with a few ideas, not being serious at all, and suddenly I had something that looked vaguely like the outline of a woman in front of me. After that, I immediately switched to Skye, and managed to refine her character design quite nicely. Maybe I just have to relax and not try so hard when I'm drawing people.
Note: usually she wears her hair in a ponytail, but I wanted to have some fun and show her with her hair down. I was tempted to give her long anime hair to her waist, but I think that would have detracted from her look.

Kudos! You're definitely getting better with the female form An-chan! I love the detail on the jacket.
And now my least favourite part. The negatives:
Though you are getting better, remember: A bottle. Females have much more of a waist than males, and you can normally see the curve rather than the male 'straight' that Skye has. And not even the tightest trousers would hang like that. There would be marks or creases on them (though I can't really talk about that until I figure out to do it).
Anyway, its definitely an improvement from your last attempt. Told you not to focus so hard ^_^
